Essay I
This week, I added new content to my website to continue building it around my interests and favorite things to do in the Seattle area. The two new posts I created were “Get Fit – Fitness Classes in Seattle” and “Must Visit – Pike Place.” These posts helped me expand my site with content that reflects both my hobbies and places I enjoy, while also making the website more engaging for visitors. Creating these posts gave me the opportunity to develop the overall theme of my site and add more personality to the content. Essay II
For the automated insights portion of the assignment, I checked GA4 to review whether any automated insights had been generated for my website. At this time, no automated insights were available, which I believe is because my previous website crashed and there was not enough recent or consistent data in GA4 for the system to detect unusual changes or trends. Although I was not able to observe an active automated insight, this still helped me understand how GA4 depends on site traffic and historical activity to automatically identify patterns. I included a screenshot to show that I checked the Insights section and confirmed that no automated insights were available yet.

Essay III
For the custom insights portion of the assignment, I reviewed the feature in GA4 and learned how custom insights can be used to track important changes in website performance based on selected conditions and metrics. However, I did not have a custom insight available on my account at this time. Since my previous website crashed, I am still in the process of rebuilding site activity and traffic data, which limited my ability to fully create or observe a meaningful custom insight. Even though I was not able to analyze an active custom insight, this assignment helped me better understand the purpose of custom insights and how they can be useful for monitoring KPIs and sending alerts when important changes occur. I included a screenshot to document my review of this section in GA4.
